Nope, never got that.... I think a stronger case could be made for a connection to Jefferson Airplane's White Rabbit - similar rhythm etc.

Perhaps the rhythmic theme of "white rabbit" was a take from Ravels Bolero?

Definitely. Both are "Bolero" knockoffs.
